HVAC DELVAN is designed as an independent information resource. Its purpose is to make commercial HVAC decisions easier to frame—not to sell, arrange, or endorse field work.

Four evidence labels

Fact

A statement traceable to a named, accessible source. We prefer government, standards bodies, regulators, and first-party company pages.

Estimate

A numerical range built from stated assumptions. It must not be presented as observed performance.

Hypothesis

A proposition that still requires field evidence, such as contractor willingness to pay for a defined event.

Unknown

A material question without reliable evidence, including actual conversion, acceptance, and acquisition cost before a controlled test.

Publishing process

Start with the narrow user decision.Define the property audience, equipment type, problem, and excluded scope.
Use source hierarchy.Current government and regulator sources first, first-party company evidence second, independent research third, and clearly labeled commercial benchmarks last.
Check claims against site boundaries.No contractor, licensing, public-office, dispatch, client, partner, or availability claims without evidence and legal authority.
Date volatile statements.Domain availability, law, prices, company facts, and market data can change.
Correct visibly.Material corrections should identify what changed, when, and why.
